Aaron, 2014 - New Lisbon, WI Senior Photographer

Oh my, what can I say?  Aaron's Senior Session was so much fun!  We had open fields, antique tractors, old barns and animals.  It was amazing!  Aaron was such a good sport too, he was up for pretty much anything to get a good shot.

Not only did I have a great time taking Aaron's pictures, I learned a lot too.  As we all know Wisconsin's weather this spring has been anything but predictable and that went for the day of Aaron's session as well.  Although it had been scheduled to rain and storm all day, we lucked out and got an overcast yet sunny morning (don't ask me how it is overcast and sunny at the same time, but it was).  We didn't have one drop of rain and it was beautiful!  It did, however, give me quite a challenge in shooting and editing and was a great all around experience.

Take a look at this great session!

Aaron fixed up this old tractor, which turned out beautiful!  It was a great addition for pictures.

Thanks again Aaron for this great opportunity.  Have a great Senior year!

Dave & Miranda, Expecting! Tomah, WI Photographer

When I first heard that Dave & Miranda were expecting I was super excited!  They are such a great couple and so much fun to be around and I know that they are going to make the most wonderful parents.  I am so happy that I got to take their maternity pictures, when we weren't fighting off the mosquitos we had a great time!

Take a look at this adorable couple and their baby bump!

Did I mention that they don't know if they are having a boy or a girl yet?  I love that!  Call me old fashioned, but I wish we wouldn't have found out what our first child was before we had him.  I just think that it is a great surprise.

Congratulations Dave & Miranda!  I can't wait to meet your little one.

Happy Mother's Day!

This past year has brought me many amazing blessings that I am looking back upon this Mother's Day. Not only do I get the privilege of celebrating my third Mother's Day today with my wonderful husband and my favorite little man in the world, but we will also be adding to our family this coming fall, and I cannot wait to meet our newest addition! I am also thankful for the support and love that my Mother has shown me throughout the years, not only is she a great mother but also an amazing Grandmother.  Three days ago Brant and I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary, which was also the day that I got the best Mother-In-Law that anyone could ask for.  It is true that many great women of graced my life with their presence, including my Mother, Grandmothers and Mother-In-Law but there is no greater blessing in my life than my son and my soon to be child and all of the joy that they bring me.

Aside from the mothers in my personal life, I have been given the great opportunity to have many beautiful mothers as clients!  To celebrate this Mother's Day I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of these gorgeous women that I have worked with over the last year and take a moment to wish them a Happy Mother's Day!

I would like to wish a special first Mother's Day to this beautiful new Mommy!  We had such a good time taking these maternity pictures last fall and they were absolutely gorgeous.

To all of the mothers out there, Happy Mother's Day!

The Mohs Family

Meet my second wonderful family from the fall, The Mohs Family!  The weather definitely tried our patience for this session.  After rescheduling an earlier session due to the rain we finally got the weather to hold off for about an hour to sneak in some super cute pictures.  We even managed to find about five minutes of sunshine right in the middle of our session.  I am so happy to have met this great family and am excited to share their adorable pictures with you.

Thank you Mohs Family.  You are amazing!

The Hagen Family

It has been quite a while since my last blog post, and I must apologize for that.  After a very busy summer and fall I took a small break to spend some much needed time with my very special little man who is now 2 1/2.

With the days starting to get longer I have started to get spring fever and have been thinking more and more about what will hopefully be a very exciting summer photography season for me!

With this in mind I am going to take a couple of weeks to reflect back at my last few sessions from the fall.  I was very fortunate to have a full schedule at the end of last year and had some amazing clients.  To jump start 2013 I am going to take a peek at the wonderful Hagen family.  I had such a great time playing in the leaves with these three little ones.  They are all naturals in front of a camera.

No more rambling from me...here are The Hagens!

Thank you Hagen Family!
